For Christina, minimalism started out as a means to an end. Practical minimalism was a way to become debt free. Overtime, “minimalism turned into wanting to want less.” Christina noticed a shift as she became more grateful for what she had.

It’s going to be hard to sustain new minimalist habits if there isn’t a driving force behind your actions. Maybe you want to save more or have more time getting ready. Find what drives you.

When it comes to finding your personal style, Christina recommends that you start by shopping your closet. Notice what you wear regularly and ask yourself:
- Why do I reach for this all the time?
- Do I feel good in it?
- Does it make me feel a certain way?
- Does it spark a certain vibe or memory?
